Jabatan Perdagangan merupakan jabatan akademik di Politeknik Nilai, Negeri Sembilan yang kini menawarkan EMPAT (4) Program daripada diploma politeknik. Program tersebut adalah Diploma Kewangan & Perbankan Islam, Diploma Pengurusan Logistik & Rantaian Bekalan, Diploma Pengurusan Peruncitan dan Diploma Sistem Maklumat Perniagaan. Staf akademik Jabatan ini terdiri dari pensyarah-pensyarah yang berkelulusan dalam pelbagai bidang seperti perakaunan & kewangan, pengurusan logistik, pengurusan peruncitan, sistem maklumat dan lain-lain yang mempunyai pengalaman luas dalam perkhidmatan pendidikan.

DIPLOMA IN ISLAMIC BANKING & FINANCE
Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills in Islamic banking and financial area, which are now among the fastest growing segments of global financial services. Based on the program standard of Muamalat and Islamic Finance by Malaysia Qualification Agency, this program comprising the element of muamalat, Islamic finance, Islamic banking, risk management and takaful and Islamic financial planning and wealth management. In addition, the students are also encompass the basic business and financial literacy namely business mathematics, statistics, business accounting, principles of marketing, macroeconomics, microeconomics and entrepreneurship. The combination of compulsory courses, common core courses and discipline courses with selected assessment are projected to enhance student to achieve the five clusters of learning outcomes of knowledge and understanding, cognitive skills, functional work skills, personal and entrepreneurial skills and ethics and professionalism
DIPLOMA IN LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
The Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is specially developed to provide comprehensive coverage of the various components of the logistics and supply chain industry such as logistics management, procurement, distribution, transportation, export, import documentation, and warehouse operation. Apart from the technical knowledge and skills, the curriculum also emphasizes the development of the individual potential of students in an integrated and holistic manner through courses such as Islamic studies, moral studies, cocurriculum, and entrepreneurship.
DIPLOMA IN RETAIL MANAGEMENT
Diploma in Retail Management is design to provide students with the opportunity to obtain knowledge in a challenges and competitive retailing environment. This program equips the graduates with relevant knowledge and skills to enable them to supervise and manage a retail store effectively. Besides that, graduates will adapt to the current situation in challenging retail industry. Students will undergo a six (6) semester program inclusive of industrial training. The programme structure offers courses such as Introduction of Retailing, Merchandising Mathematics for Retailing, Retail Customer Service, Retail Operation 1, Visual Merchandising, Retail Operation 2, Retail Buying, Retail Promotion, Retail Security and Loss Prevention, Current Issues in Retailing and Retail Project. Hence, students will also be exposing to business language such as English.
DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEM
Diploma in Business Information System provides students with the importance of business information systems in organizations. The programme provides students with the knowledge and skills of accounting, economics, marketing, decision science, management and business information systems. Discipline core courses include Business Information Systems, Business Computer Application, E-Commerce, Introduction to Programming, Web Development, Business Information Systems in Supply Chain, Business Analytics for Decision Support System, Database Management Systems, Project Management, Creative Multimedia for Business and Business Information Systems Project. This knowledge and skills will strengthen the abilities in problem identification, data analysis and decision making to provide solutions and continuous improvement for a business
